Check Fixtures
Throughout our years in the Check Fixture & Gaging industry Schwab Ind. has amassed a wealth of practical experience in designing & building Fixtures & Gages. This experience & knowledge is the basis for solving today's issues in fixturing & gaging the wide variety of parts that we are asked to work with. On the sheet metal side of things we have designed & built fixtures for everything from the smallest of brackets to complete body in white fixtures that can utilize either the complete body or the individual assemblies that make up the body. For the plastics industry we again have worked on a vast variety of fixtures ranging from a small speaker grill to a complete instrument panel fixture with door simulations to help evaluate the I/P to door fit and finish.
Assembly Fixture
We are fully capable of pulling the production processes and tooling forward into the prototype build events. This allows assembly issues to be addressed and rectified long before the start of production. This includes robotic assembly be it welding (spot or mig), riveting, hemming and bonding processes. Schwab's in house robotic capabilities covers it all.
Fixture Design
Schwab Ind. has a fully staffed and experienced design team. Our designers have worked in various sectors of this industry giving us a wide range of design capabilities. We are currently designing on Catia V5 and also Unigraphics which are maintained at the latest rev levels in use. We are well versed in all types of fixtures and gages as well as secondary tooling. Our facilities are fully integrated to provide instantaneous information from top to bottom.
Jigs & Fixtures
Schwab Industries, Inc. has a dedicated fixture and gage division able to design and build the smallest to the largest and most complex sub-assembly and final assembly fixtures and gages. Along with the assembly fixtures and gages are CMM holding fixtures and attribute check fixtures required in the production of quality stamping assemblies and detail components. Whether it is production gages for your use in mass production, or of it is gages and fixtures for use in developing your prototype stamping and assembly, Schwab Industries, Inc. offers you the "one-stop" shop. Being able to coordinate our various abilities further enhances our ability to solve challenges in a swift and cost effective manner.
